Custom Regions

A Custom Region is a specific geography you define, such as a service area or part of a state. When you create a Custom Region, you can select it with any visualization, and data will be populated for it.

For example, you can create a Custom Region that includes all of the Zip Codes your health system covers or all of the census tracts that overlap within the area your health department serves.

Once a Custom Region is created, Metopio:

• Instantly calculates all available Topics for the region

• Allows the Custom Region to be used like any other geography in maps, charts, and other tools
