How to find data with stratifications

When your work focuses on distinct groups, the best way to find data that has a certain stratification is to use the filters in the Data Dictionary.

  1. Navigate to the Data Dictionary on the left menu under Data

  2. Under Filter Topics expand Stratification

  3. Select the group you are interested in

This will filter the topics listed on the right to only those that include those populations.

You can select multiple populations, the search will include all data topics that include one or more of the populations you have selected.

You can learn more about the stratifications available for a specific topic by clicking the More Information button under that topic in the data dictionary

You can also pull up this information anywhere on the platform by clicking on the green (i) next to any data topic you are working with.

The below guides provide information about how to leverage stratifications in different types of visualizations.
